PEACE operates through interventions at four levels

Perspective and Capacity Building Workshops:
PEACE organises these workshops to help grassroots organisations build their understanding and strategic outlook based on their issues. Key topics include how to establish community control over natural resources, displacement/migration, land acquisition, forest rights, empowerment of village assemblies under the PESA Act, gender, documentation, organisational development, and leadership building. Such workshops emphasise collaborative learning, where participants identify shared challenges, exchange solutions, and co-create strategies for sustainable impact.
Accompaniment Process:
In this process, PEACE engages in handholding with grassroots workers by conducting meetings and workshops to support them on the ground. This support extends to strengthening the internal functioning of community collectives, ensuring alignment between their goals and actions.

Cross-Learning Workshops:
PEACE brings together organisations working on similar issues in different areas to create a shared understanding and collective strategies. Two key points are always emphasised: what can be done to support each other and what can be achieved together. This helps in formulating a collective understanding and plan of action. Such workshops emphasise collaborative learning, where participants identify shared challenges, exchange solutions, and co-create strategies for sustainable impact.
Popular Information centre:
A resource hub for activists, students, and campaigns, ensuring access to crucial documents, research, and media. It supports public education, advocacy, and informed participation in social movements.
opening hours: Monday-Saturday, 9:30AM-5PM.
