
Aims & Objectives
- To strengthen Communities and their initiatives at the grassroots by assisting groups, individuals, and institutions to evolve, consolidate, and enrich their perspective, strategies, and corresponding competencies while emphasising the importance of questioning dominant narratives and practices.
- To assist people’s initiatives and efforts on issues of survival, identity, and democratic space through the enhancement of knowledge and information base of such efforts and building the capacity of grassroots collectives to address interconnected challenges such as poverty, discrimination, and lack of access to resources.
- To motivate, orient, and support youth from minorities and other marginalised communities to join efforts of social development and transformation, while embedding practices of leadership rooted in community empowerment and systemic equity.
- To initiate and facilitate networking among like-minded groups and individuals, establishing their linkages with wider movements at a macro level, with an emphasis on fostering sustained collaboration across diverse issues and geographies.
- To address the issue of gender equality in all its interventions by embedding practices that dismantle harmful gender norms, ensuring that intersectional perspectives shape all actions and outcomes.
